Saif Ali Khan’s Bullett Raja Will not Release in Pakistan

Buzz is that Saif and Sonakshi’s upcoming film won’t hit the theatres in Pakistan this Friday. Saif Ali Khan and Sonakshi Sinha’s Bullett Raja is all set to hit the theatres tomorrow. However, the film won’t release in Pakistan due to a court order passed, which states that no Indian film will be censored or released in Pakistan hence forth. Sadly, Saif’s Bullett Raja seems to be the first prey. Last year too, Saif’s film Agent Vinod, alongside Kareena Kapoor Khan was banned in Pakistan but for a different reason. The censor board felt that it could hurt the sentiments of the locals.
So, why was this order issued against Bollywood films? Well, apparently, TV talk show host Mubashir Lucman had filed a petition as a consequence of a conflict among Paksitani TV channels. Reportedly, one of the channels which did not get the telecast rights of several Bollywood films initiated this petition. It has been confirmed that Bullett Raja has not been censored in Pakistan and Amjad Rashid, a leading distributor of Bollywood films in Pakistan said, “It won’t open this Friday.”
While producer Mukesh Bhatt is quite distraught with this order, distributor Ramesh Sippy finds this ‘weird.’ As per trade analysts, they find this order very unjust as Bollywood not only generates revenue for Pakistan but also gives employment opportunities to its artistes. That’s true, ain’t it? One can’t forget how Adnan Sami was recently permitted to stay in India despite an expired visa, hai na? Well, this is really unfair and we wonder what the film fraternity has to say about this. Meanwhile, we wish good luck for Tigmanshu Dhulia’s Bullett Raja. For more Indian Celebrity News Please visit http://fashioncentral.in
